đ§ Two Real-Life Conversations to Practice Your Spanish
Weekly email for active students!
Hola. Feliz miĂ©rcoles. ÂżCĂłmo va tu dĂa?
Hereâs your weekly email (just for active students) to help you stay consistent and keep practicing between classes.
This week, weâre focusing on listening with two short conversations, one in the present tense and one in the past, based on real-life situations you might talk about in Spanish.
Listen, read along, and repeat aloud if you can. Even five minutes goes a long way.
đ Resource of the Week: 2 Conversations with Audio
đïž Conversation #1 â Present Tense:
Topic: Work routines and stress at the office
Why this matters: This is great for reinforcing daily verbs and vocabulary around your job, energy, and how people talk about their routines.

Topic: Weekend activities and social plans
Why this matters: This one helps you hear how native speakers talk about what they did over the weekend; perfect for Monday's small talk!

đŹ Phrase of the Week
âNo me da tiempoâ â I donât have the time / I canât get around it.
Used all the time in everyday Spanish when life feels busy.
No me da tiempo de ir al gimnasio. â I donât have the time to go to the gym
đĄ Quick Tip
Listen to the conversation once without reading, then a second time with the transcript. Itâs okay if you donât understand everything. Your brain is training to connect meaning with sound en Español.
đ Thatâs all for now
Keep Spanish present this week, even if itâs just 5 minutes with your headphones on.
Nos vemos en clase.
