What Every Spanish Learner Should Memorize First ðŸ§
+ Free Guide & Grammy-Winning Band!
Hola amig@, ¿Cómo estás? Espero muy bien.
When learning Spanish, it’s easy to feel like you need to memorize everything, but the truth is, some things matter more than others. Focusing on the right words and structures will make learning faster and easier.
This week, I’m sharing a quick guide on what to memorize so you can stop feeling overwhelmed and start speaking with confidence. Plus, I’ve put together a free downloadable list to help you practice. Grab it below! 👇
Memorization: What to Focus on in Spanish
✅ Common words & expressions – Words you hear and use daily, like porque, entonces, aunque.
✅ Essential verbs – Focus on ser, estar, tener, ir, querer, hacer and use them in full sentences.
✅ Useful sentence patterns – Instead of isolated words, memorize phrases like ¿Me puedes ayudar? or Voy a + infinitive verb.
✅ Pronunciation tricks – Learn Spanish sounds (ll = y, h is silent, j sounds like English h) and accent rules.
💡 Tip: Don't just memorize, go practice with intention. Speak, write, and listen to make it stick!
🎵 Song of the Week: "Hora Loca" by Rawayana ft. Monsieur Periné
This week’s song is "Hora Loca" by Rawayana featuring Monsieur Periné 🎶. The Venezuelan Band Rawayana just won a Grammy for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album with ¿Quién Trae Las Cornetas? so this is a perfect time to check them out!
Listen, read the lyrics, and pick out new words or phrases. Music is one of the best ways to train your ear for Spanish!
